My name is Gerardo Ivan Santos, but I prefer to be called by my middle name “Ivan”. I received my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a Minor in Computer Science and Film from Berea College on May 7, 2017 in Berea, KY.

I have a strong background in Supply Chain and Logistics. During college, I worked in event planning and management with a position as the Student Director for the Campus Activities Board at Berea College.

Over the years, I have worked with many organizations. In 2016, I worked with Unilever where I focused on Digital Marketing Services supporting Supply Chain on the KlondikeBar and Breyers Brands.

Currently, I work for Mediaocean where I support Client Accounting as it relates to Prisma for Spectra DS and OX.

Moving forward, I am focusing on a career in process management and customer success. Through my experiences and education, I have identified that I have a strong talent for advocating for clients and working with them to build workflow, while adopting and retaining SaaS product offerings.

I joined Mediaocean in February 2019 and have since held various roles in the customer success and customer experience teams. Throughout my tenure, I have fostered meaningful relationships with our clients and leveraged these relationships to engage key stakeholders in learning, adopting, and retaining our core SaaS products. Working with a range of clients has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of their needs and pain points, and I take pride in being able to provide effective solutions that drive their success.

Developer

I am a skilled web developer with a strong track record of designing and implementing websites using HTML, PHP, and CSS as well as using CMS like WordPress. This has allowed me to deliver top-notch web solutions to my clients. In college, I designed and developed an encryption software in Python that encrypted text messages for end-users, showcasing my technical expertise and ability to create innovative solutions. My passion for coding and building websites drives me to continually learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field.

Musician

I have been playing bass since 2018 and have had the privilege of playing on various worship teams, from New York to Kentucky. My Skills are not only limited to the Bass guitar; I am also experienced and know how to play the Piano and Guitar. In 2020, I served as the Musical Director at the New York City Dream Center. Today, I am proud to be serving at Generations Community Church since 2022. Music has been a huge part of my life, and I feel blessed to be able to use my talents to worship and serve with others.

Best Buy | 2018-2019: As a former Computer Sales Associate and Apple Expert, I provided exceptional service, helping customers with everything from troubleshooting to product recommendations, and my expertise in Apple products was highly valued.

Dollar General | 2017-2018: As a former Store Manager, I oversaw daily operations, managed inventory, and ensured customer satisfaction, while providing excellent leadership and training to the team, resulting in increased sales and positive feedback.

Berea College | 2013-2017: As former Student Director for the Campus Activities Board, I planned and executed events that fostered community building and a sense of belonging among the student body by collaborating with other student organizations and staff.

Unilever Summer | 2016: As a Digital Marketing Services Intern, I assist the team in executing digital marketing campaigns and initiatives by analyzing data, developing strategies, and enhancing the brand’s online presence.
